Where do I type my stamp information?
Ordering stamps online is easy at AddressStamp.com. Simply choose your stamp, as well as the options you
would prefer. You will type your actual stamp text later in the checkout process. You must first add
a stamp to your shopping cart, and proceed with checking out. Before checking out, you will be given
a box to type all of your stamp details along with any special instructions you feel will help
us produce the order. If we have any questions about your order, rest assured, we will contact you.
If you prefer a printable order form that you manually fill out that can be faxed or mailed, or you have made
other ordering arrangements with us that require a printable order form, download printable order form here.
Choosing a Font
When ordering a stamp containing text, you will be asked to choose a font. This chart shows all
of the typestyles that we can produce. The range of point sizes available includes 5 pt. to 500 pt.
increments. However, you do not need to give us the point size of the font you have chosen.
We will automatically make the font as large as will fit on your stamp. Please be aware that
the stamp imprint will not always go to the exact edge of the imprint area. This is a common requirement in the stampmaking process.
Please keep in mind the more characters per line you include, then the smaller the point size we will
be forced to use to fit all of your text on the line. The fewer the characters, the larger point
size we can use. If you still want to tell us what size to use, we will do our best to accommodate
the size with the text you have given us. You can even specify a point size for each line. Again,
just type this information in the area provided for your stamp details.
If you have a favorite font you want to use, and do not see it on our list, you can always email the
font to us to use, or ask us. We may carry the font in our library. As always, we try to give you as
many choices as possible. It's your stamp. Let's make it the way you really want it. We're here to help.
Logos & Artwork Info
If you have your own logo or artwork that you would like to put on your stamp, you will need to
provide us the artwork (crisp black & white images only) by email or regular mail. Please note
that images with screens or fine details do not tend to reproduce well on a rubber stamp.
By email
We prefer files in the following formats:
.ai, .cdw, .pdf, .tif, .jpg, .eps (please remember to include all fonts or convert to outlines if applicable.)
If you are unsure, simply email your artwork to us before submitting your order, and ask
us if we can use it. Don't be afraid it is not good enough. We are experts at making it work
and producing a great looking stamp. We will reply back with our ok or suggestions.
For best results, please make sure your graphic is a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Also, your
image may be larger than it will appear on the stamp. If we have to enlarge your artwork, resolution
will be lost, resulting in a poorer quality image. Reducing is always better than enlarging. If you
are submitting a vector-based image (such as an Adobe Illustrator file), please be sure all type is
converted to outlines (may also be called paths). All images should be black and white only! Upon
ordering, your will receive an order confirmation. Please reply to this email with your artwork attached.
As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us! |
